Illegal moves the Canadiens could make to get better?
What could be done? I'm thinking along the lines of Rocket Ishmael's "personal services contract" or paying teams in cash for their best player, or cheating on their taxes or something. Any ideas?

The Canadiens sent defenceman Ryan O'Byrne and centre Ben Maxwell to the Hamilton Bulldogs today in the first of two roster moves before the Canadiens play the New Jersey Devils on Friday night.
